LHS a Semi-Finalist in Art Competition - Needs Your Vote to Advance

Liberty High School is one of the Top 50 finalists in the Vans Custom Culture art competition! Our students have been provided with four pairs of blank Vans shoes, for which they have been tasked to design the four themes of Vans' "Off the Wall" lifestyle: action sports, arts, music, and local flavor.

The competition culminates in a final event this June where five schools will be awarded with an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to showcase their designs to a panel of celebrity judges. The top finalists will be selected through public voting, open until May 10.

Please vote today by clicking here!

The winning school will receive $50,000 towards its art program and the potential of one of its designs sold in Vans retail locations. The four-runner up schools will be receiving $4,000 towards their art programs.

Let's get the word out and start voting!

What We Do

Academic and Career Services is here to facilitate connections between students and their community. By partnering with local businesses, the Liberty School District can provide real-world, hands-on experiences in the field. Liberty also invites adults from the community to become volunteers and work with students one on one or with a group of students.

Our Mission

The mission of the Academic and Career Services Department is to establish relationships between the students of Liberty Public Schools  and the community. By collaborating with businesses and people of the community, we can provide resources to our students that will help them to be college and career ready.

Mission Critical Commitment

The district will expand relationships and partnerships with parents, patrons, and businesses in order to ensure greater opportunities for real world application of learning.
